We Seek After These Things…

I get the opportunity to be surrounded by amazing people.  Today I’m just grateful for my fellow missionaries that lift me up and make me want to be better.  As a missionary I try to eliminate all the bad in my life, and fill it with light and truth.  It really helps when I’m surrounded by genuinely good people.  To teach the gospel of Jesus Christ I need to have His spirit with me, and it helps when others around me have that same spirit.

So this is my motto for my life:

We (I) believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We (I) believe all things, we (I) hope all things, we (I) have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we (I) seek after these things.

Take a look at this video about young people surrounding themselves with good.

  1. I love the photo and the way you introduce the message — great post! I talk about it in my recent post about missionaries publishing media. Thanks for being a great example! (http://www.othatiwereanangel.net/2010/08/publishing-media-as-missionary.html)
